This is the first cast on you should learn since it teaches you how to cast on and knit at the same time.

**ALSO, Please note that I made a mistake when making these:

Step 2 in how to cast on should say bring the working yarn over the right hand needle from left to right, and the arrow in the picture should be going the other way!

In How to Knit, I made the same mistake! I do not knit this way, so I'm not sure why I suddenly forgot how to knit when making these tutorials! I will fix them when I have time soon!
